Full Retrofit, Ground Floor Reconfiguration, and Rear Extension, Kingsfurze Avenue, Naas
This project concerns the comprehensive transformation of a private residence located on Kingsfurze Avenue, Naas, involving a full retrofit, a complete reconfiguration of the ground floor layout, and a substantial rear extension to enhance spatial quality, comfort, and contemporary living standards.
The ground floor was redesigned to optimise circulation, improve functional relationships between rooms, and create a more open and cohesive layout. As part of this intervention, a 50 m² rear extension was added to accommodate a new kitchen, living, and dining area. Large glazed openings along the rear façade establish a strong connection with the back garden, bringing abundant natural light into the interior and creating a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Additionally, the project includes the conversion of the attic, incorporating a dormer window that opens towards the expansive green plains adjoining the property. This new upper-level space provides a bright and comfortable bedroom, benefiting from enhanced views and improved headroom.
Overall, the project delivers a fully modernised and reconfigured home, where the combined retrofit works, rear extension, and attic conversion significantly elevate spatial functionality, natural lighting, and the overall architectural quality of the dwelling.
