This 1950’s end of terrace house had an E2 rating. The Heat Loss Indicator was very poor at 4.691 W/ [k.m2] Draughty suspended timber floors, no wall insulation with a mix of single and double glazed windows made the house very cold and difficult to heat. The interventions include internal dry-lining, 150mm floor insulation with underfloor heating, airtightness measures, triple glazed Windows, solar panels with battery, decentralised ventilation, heat pump with tight pipe runs and EV charger.
